PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Drew Deffner started his real estate career in 2007 with Simon Property Group after graduating from Indiana University. His initial focus was tenant account analytics before shifting into leasing services. He played an integral role in lease execution, tenant openings, and risk management. In 2018 he was promoted to Lead of Portfolio Review and New Business where he maintained relationships with national brand executives and managed all portfolio renewals. After 11 years with Simon, Drew transitioned into a Senior Leasing role with Healthcare Trust of America and was successful in exceeding the annual sales goals set for their 1.8 million square foot Indiana portfolio. He left HTA in 2022 and moved directly into an Executive level position at ALO Property Group, where he currently focuses on representing medical office building owners and landlords.
